Emily Fortenberry

Emily Fortenberry is an alumna of Texas A&M University, where she earned Dean’s List honors for three consecutive semesters. She was an active member of the Order of Omega Honor Society and dedicated her time to tutoring underclassmen in English, French, and Philosophy. In 2021, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, a minor in Philosophy, and a Pre-Law certification. Ms. Fortenberry continued her academic journey at the University of Houston Law Center, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in May 2024. During her time in law school, she contributed to her community through volunteer work with the Mediation Clinic. In this role, she assisted Harris County’s Dispute Resolution Center by mediating small claims cases. In January 2023, Ms. Fortenberry began her legal career as a Law Clerk at Edwards & Associates. She has remained a dedicated member of the firm, advancing from Law Clerk to Associate Attorney after gaining admission to the Bar in October 2024.
